Sherbutt House Residential & Home Care Services
Sherbutt House Residential & Home Care Services is an established professional and highly motivated service for Adults with Learning Disabilities, which is dually registered with the Care Quality Commission (C.Q.C.)
Residential care is provided within 2 houses, one of which has ground floor accommodation, close to the town centre with all amenities including shops, cafe's, cinema, sports centre, library, pubs, churches, gardens and lots more. As a Domiciliary provider, we also offer services to Clients with a Learning Disability living in their own homes.
Bungalow
Supported Housing is provided in 3 bungalows next to the residential home and 7 houses nearer to the town centre.
Town House
All the Clients have tenancy agreements and are encouraged to achieve maximum independence with the support from qualified/experienced staff. The Supported Housing schemes are registered with C.Q.C. as a Domiciliary provider
About Us
Sherbutt House Residential & Home Care Services are coordinated by the Service Manager, Linda Woodhead, qualified since 1978 as a Registered General Nurse and Registered Managers Award Level 4.
Sherbutt House Residential & Home Care Services employ 3 teams of staff, including Managers, Team Leaders, Support Workers, Housekeepers, Sports & Activities Coordinator and Driver, to provide this unique service to clients. The staff teams are N.V.Q. trained and staff training is ongoing.
Clients are encouraged to pursue hobbies and interests, access community facilities and live a normal life as possible. Sherbutt House Residential & Home Care Services provides 5 vehicles for transportation to day services, college, social event, visiting friends & family and holidays.
